JLC and JLM have extensive experience with modular construction. As modular designs have grown more sophisticated and customized JLM has adapted its systems to allow for greater flexibility for our clients and partners. We are proud to be a builder of high-quality learning environments with extensive daylighting, and modern features demanded by 21st century educators.
Schedule and budget are always a challenge because there is only one first day of school every year. But we have systems in place to coordinate with architects and DSA to ensure on-time delivery.
The JLM team has worked on many K-12 schools and is both cognizant and adept at planning for and resolving issues that may arise during a construction project on campuses of occupied schools. We will lay out our construction parking, trailers, and lay down area and material storage in a manner that is completely contained and/or fenced in and secured from students, while encroaching as little as possible upon the school’s day-to-day activities. We are also mindful of access points to and from the school on a daily basis as well as local fire department regulations, including their required right of way, at all times during the construction process.
