Projects Schools 1-Story School Buildings Marin Community School
A modern continuation school campus was developed using innovative modular construction techniques. The four-building campus features distinctive design elements such as a curved roof and clerestory frames, which enhance both its aesthetics and functionality. The buildings, finished with plaster and Hardie siding, are designed to maximize natural light through large windows, clerestory windows, and Solatubes, while canopies and sunshades protect the entrances from sun exposure.
Inside, the classrooms offer spacious and well-lit environments, with glass and operable partitions connecting four classrooms to support collaborative learning. The campus adheres to high-performance modular specifications, incorporating energy-efficient HVAC systems, advanced insulation, and sustainable practices like reduced water usage and the use of recycled materials. This approach not only creates an effective learning space but also reflects a commitment to sustainability.
